my very first time

the very first time I’ve ever

tasted death

storks carried it through the sky

while half naked boys and fully naked girls

swam in the sea

and all the cats in the city danced

and cried

the very last time I was ever

born

fat worms devoured my soul

underneath the earth

invisible hands cradled me up in the moon

and in a dream I’ve entered a new birth

a dream I said a dream

as wet as a garden washed by morning dew

you may ask me what the dream was about

and lying I’ll say

that the dream was all about

you
